GitHub Issue to Linear Sync

A bi-directional integration that keeps GitHub Issues and Linear in perfect sync — create an issue in either platform and it appears in both, with status updates flowing automatically.

Issue Sync:

• New GitHub issue → creates Linear ticket (and vice versa)
• Title, description, and body sync
• Status mapping: open/closed ↔ Todo/In Progress/Done
• Label ↔ Label mapping with custom rules
• Assignee mapping between platforms

Comment Sync:

• Comments sync bi-directionally
• @mention translation between platforms
• Markdown formatting preserved
• Attachment and image sync
• Bot comments filtered out (configurable)

Advanced Features:

• Branch detection — auto-moves Linear ticket to In Progress when branch created
• PR linking — connects PRs to Linear tickets via branch naming convention
• Sprint/cycle mapping — GitHub milestones ↔ Linear cycles
• Priority sync — GitHub labels ↔ Linear priority levels
• Repository → Team mapping for multi-repo setups
